The college campus with Hospital building is built on more than 4 Acres  of land.

Lecture –Halls

As for requirements of CCIM; College has well ventilated and specious seven lecture halls(on Ground floor and rest two on First floor) with comfortable sitting arrangement for 100 students and desks. In the lecture hall all the modern teaching facilities like Over head projectors, LCD projector, sound box with mike are available

DEPARTMENTS

There are Fourteen Departments in the College with about 50+ teaching faculty.

DEPARTMENT OF SIDDHANTA, SAMHITA & SANSKRIT (BASIC PRINCIPLE)

This Department deals with the study of Philosophical fundamental approach of Ayurveda. The name of the department itself suggests that it elaborates the basic concepts of diagnosis and treatment. The basic concepts if applied properly and in its authentic way, it leads to the absolute knowledge of disease; which is applied to the newer diseases, too.


DEPARTMENT OF RACHANA SHARIR (ANATOMY)

The subject of Rachana Sharir includes study of Normal body structures as stated in Ayurvedic Samhita by the Acharyas along with the study of Modern Anatomy.
The department is engaged in teaching and research of the fundamentals of Ayurvedic Anatomy Le. Marma Sharir, Indriya Sharir, Tantra Sharir, Sira Dhamni Srotas Sharir, Shavavichhedan (Cadeveric dissection) etc.
Rachana Sharir is an extremely dynamic and interesting subject to an inquisitive Practitioner and Researcher of Ayurveda. All the medical sciences require more or less basic knowledge of Rachana Sharir. Hence the study is indeed the most important of basic sciences of the life.


DEPARTMENT OF KRIYA-SHARIR (PHYSIOLOGY)

Kriya sharir is the basic subject of Ayurveda, which initiates learning of Ayurveda at primary level for the students of first BAMS. Kriya Sharir is involved in the study of scientific basic of Tridosha, Saptadhatu and Deha-Manasa-Prakriti.
Sharirkriya is the subject which deals with all the basic knowledge and siddhantas as well as clinical examination of normal individual. The scientific evaluation of Tridosha has great importance from the stand point of diagnosis and therapy. The etiopathogenesis of disease can not be explained unless Tridosha is objectively assessed.


DEPARTMENT OF DRAVYA GUNA VIGYAN (PHARMACOLOGY)

This Department deals with Medicinal plants of Ayurvedic Classics, their identification, properties, action and therapeutic uses in accordance with fundamental Principles of Ayurveda. The subject also includes standardization of Medicinal plants. Amongst all the available sources of drugs in various therapies herbal drugs are proved to be safest; so more and more people are attracted and wish to undergo only herbal therapy.


DEPARTMENT OF RAS SHASTRA & BHAISHJYA KALPNA (PHARMACY)

Rasashastra & Bhaishajya kalpana is one of the most important branches of Ayurveda. It basically deals with the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines using Mercury, various metals, minerals and also various herbs. Department has developed many equipments to facilitate the pharmaceutical work.


DEPARTMENT OF ROG VIGYAN (PATHOLOGY)

Rognidan-Vikrutividnyan is the groundwork of all the clinical subjects. The subject helps you to understand in depth the disease (Vyadhi-vidnyanam) & its pathogenesis (Samprapti Vidnyanam), the art & science of the clinical examination methods (Aatur or Rugna Parikshan Vidhi); the signs & symptoms or clinical features of the disease, the required investigations (Vyadhi pariksha vidhi) & the interpretation of their results as well. The subject deals with not only the diagnosis but also the prognosis (Sadhya-sadhyatwa) of any disease.


DEPARTMENT OF SWASTHAVRITTA & YOGA

Swasthavritta is the branch of Ayurveda which deals with prevention of diseases through healthy life style. A real strength of Ayurveda is preventive measures and maintaining good health which is included in subject Swasthavritta.


DEPARTMENT OF AGADA TANTRA & VIDHI JURIS-PRUDENCE & TOXICOLOGY

Agadtantra is the subject dealing with poisonous or toxicological effects of plants, animals, their effect and management. This also deals with jurisprudence and study of laws related to the practice.


DEPARTMENT OF PRASUTI-TANTRA & STRI ROG (OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY)

Prasuti- Tantra & Stree Roga is a branch dealing with the management of Pregnancy, labour & post-labour recovery period and Diagnosis & & treatment of diseases of the female reproductive system and the female genital tract.


DEPARTMENT OF KAUMAR BHRITYA – BAL ROG (PEDIATRICS)

The main focus of this department is to get aware the students regarding the fundamental of pediatric diseases, vaccination, various disability and deformity, Neonatology, congenital, hereditary and acquired/ infective illnesses etc.


DEPARTMENT OF KAYA CHIKITSA (MEDICINE)

The word kaya has two literal meanings such as Agni and body and the word chikitsa means treatment. So kayachikitsa deals with the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of disorders such as geriatric medicine (Rasayana), Aphrodisiac medicine (Vajikarana), skin disorders, Diabetes and other lifestyle disorders, general medical disorders, arthritis and joint disorders.


DEPARTMENT OF SHALYA TANTRA (SURGERY)

Shalya Tantra is a subject of study to get aware the students regarding the fundamental of surgical diseases, various disability and deformity, trauma, fractures, congenital and acquired illnesses etc.


DEPARTMENT OF SHALAKYA TANTRA (ENT)

Department of Shalakya Tantra teachs and trains the students about the basics of Ophthalmology, ENT and Oral Cavity & Dentistry in Ayurveda aspects given in Ayurveda as well as modern concepts at their level.


DEPARTMENT OF PANCHKARMA

Panchakarma deals with procedures like shirodhara, patra pinda and shali shashtika pinda swedana etc. It is also imparted to students the strict discipline and hygiene in the management of Panchakarma therapy room and its instruments.


HERBAL GARDEN

Herbal Garden is very spacious having the area of 44,643.77 Sq. Fit. The total number of medicinal plants grown in it is 2961. Green House Is Built Near The Herbal Garden, Which Is Having Numerous Very Rare Medicinal Plants Of Dravyaguna Vigyan. The best part of the our institution is herbal garden with e-learning facility. you have to need just scan the QR code Printed on every plant name plate and you can get all the details about plant like family of plant, botanic name, names in different language & uses etc.

LIBRARY


College library is working nicely in a space of 2000 sq. ft. area. Total no. of books at present in the library is more than ten thousands. out of that 7600 books are of ayurveda and two thousand and five hundred books are of modern science & others stream etc.

  • There Is Seating Capcity Of around 120 Students & 40 Teachers.
  • Journals In Ayurveda And Modern Medicine Is More Than 20 In Number.
  • Magazines of Different Sections like Sports, Cultural, Science and Technology and General Knowledge Etc Are Coming to Library Regularly and These Are Almost 20 In numbers.


PHARMACY

College pharmacy is working in 3900 sq.ft. area having number of instrument equipment required for the pharmacy i.e. pulviser, ball mill,dry and wet grinder, electric chuttu & tablet makiing machine, arrangement of capsule filling, tablet testing disintegration machine,

  • Arak Distilation Plant, Drier For Tablets Etc.
  • There Is Arrangement For Kwath Prepration
  • Raw Drugs Area Preserved In The Dry, Neat And Clean Container And Time To Time Check Is Also Made There.
  • Medicines Prepared In The College Pharmacy Are Not Commercialised But Used For Opd/Ipd Patients Of The Hospital. Various Kits Prepared in the College Pharmacy Whose Coding is done and sent to male and female panchkarma department.


Cafeteria

The hospital has a professionally managed cafeteria for the convenience of the patient’s relatives and other visitors to the hospital for meeting their requirements of snacks/ drinks and meals. Cafeteria of the college is very neat & clean and working in the area of 3000 sq. ft. Separate arrangement for teachers, non teaching staff & paramedical staff etc has been made in the canteen by providing the 10 tables and 40 chairs etc.

For students and guest separate arrangement has been made by providing 15 tables and 60 chairs etc. Arrangement of fans, cooler has been made. There is one water cooler on the right along the entry point of the canteen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner is provided in the college canteen. There is also arrangement of tea, coffee, cold drinks and baking items etc.
