Purpose :
To determine Friability of tablets.
Scope :
Friability test will come under this procedure
Procedure :
• Accurately weigh the tablets, and place tablet in the drum of the instruments.
• Rotate the drum for 4 minutes @25rmp, and remove the tablets.
• Accurately weigh the tablets and determine the % of wt. loss [Mass percent of the loss with respect to the initial mass]
