Purpose :
To determine the hardness of test tablets.
Scope :
Hardness of the Tablet will come under this procedure.
Procedure :
• Take tablet and place tablets in between the jaws of the instruments.
• Apply the Pressure, by tightening the screw of the instrument till tablet breaks.
• Note down the corresponding reading where the tablet breaks.
