- Set up Centre of Excellence for Care and Ayurvedic Management of Chronic Spine disorder Patients.
- To establish a holistic treatment approach for care and management of Chronic Spine disorder Patients.
- Establishment of multi-institutional and multi-investigator collaborative research network for Care and Ayurvedic Management of Chronic Spine Disorders.
- Development of SOPs Monographs and IEC regarding Chronic Spine Disorders.
- Development of 4 local application formulations of Dhanwantry Pain relief oil (Liniment, Transdermal patch, Aerosol and oil) as per the current need of the patients and clinical trial on the same.
- Publication of Articles regarding chronic spine disorders.
- Extension and upgradation of existing NABH Ayurvedic Hospital to increase Bed Capacity from 125 to 250 beds.
- Patent right of SDACH formulations- DPRLO-F1(Liniment), DPRTP-F2(Transdermal Patch), DPRAS-F3(Aerosol spray) and DPRO will be shared with Ministry of AYUSH.

About the Society
SDE Society was incorporated on 31/03/1976 was registered with Chandigarh Administration Bearing Registration No261/1975-76.Founded by 11 Members mostly Vaidyas, presently there are 39 Members of High Repute having Philanthropist approach, the masses include ExpectedVaidya, Retd IAS, Ex Ministers, Celebrated Engineers, Advocates and Distinguished personalities of their own Field.SDES is registered Under Section 12 AA (Regd. No. AACT50679ME20214) & having 80G exemption vide letter No. AACT50679MF20214
We also have Niti Ayog registration Bearing No CH/2017/0152381& also having CSR registration vide CSR00018011
We also have NABL accredited LAB at entry level.
No member of Society is related to each other & our Motto is to serve the Society irrespective of caste, creed & Religion. Societyβs aim is βQuality, Ethical & Affordable AYUSH Healthcare. About the Hospital
Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic Hospital is the only Ayurvedic Indoor Hospital of UT Chandigarh having 125 Beds Capacity.
It is built on valuable land of 4 Acres in the heart of commercial hub of Chandigarh. Chandigarh has the privilege of being the First planned city of India designed by Le Corbusierin 1955. It is the only city to be capital of 2 states i.e Punjab and Haryana but still independent to as Union Territory.
Established as AYUSH hospital in 1979 initially was started with 50 IPD Beds, In 1979 increased to 60Beds, In 2014 increased to 100 Beds and from 2019 Bed strength is 125 having NABH registration Bearing NoAH-2019-0068, CGHS empanelled vide Letter N0. F.No. 25-02/2018/CGHS/JD AYUSH/ 174-198. Also, on panel of Many organizations Like Aditya Birla Health Insurance, HDFC ERGO, ICICI Lombard, Reliance Healthcare, Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd.
Our hospital was declared as Covid care Hospital Vide Chandigarh Administration Letter No. F-2071/Fii (GMSH)2020/06090 dated 08/05/2020 and treated 1788 Patients.
06 Clinical trials on COVID done with different collaborations and published in reputed journals like Elsevier.
Hospital is having inhouse Facility of Clinical Laboratory, X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI as well as Physiotherapy Facility.
There are 8 OPDs namely Kayachiktsa, Panchkarma, Balrog, Shalya, Shalakya (ENT), Shalakya (EYE), Stree rog, Swasthvritta, having average 260 patients per day. Presently we have 26 PG Qualified Consultants, 09 RMOs, 2 EMOs 41 Para Medical staff & 60 supportive staff.
In the last Years we have admitted 2000 IPD patients with more than 25000 Bed days.
Having prestigious institution like Punjab University, Punjab Engineering College, PGI. GMCH, NIPER, OCF, INTEX, TTTI Chandigarh is one of the highly educated city of India, and accordingly has provided many Supreme, High Court Judges, renowned Engineers, Scientist, Doctors, Educationists, IAS,IPS, IRS and many more may be highest percentage of population. In Short, we are one of the Best Dedicated Ayush Hospital of North & Best in Tricity of Chandigarh.
